Objective |
| By providing assistance for Korean writers to participate in residency programs overseas, LTI Korea hopes to provide more opportunities for the writers to be inspired and at the same time, to provide more opportunities for literary exchanges between Korea and other countries. |

Description |
| LTI Korea provides round-trip airfare and living expenses and opportunities to hold lectures on the topic of Korean literature to the college students or other readers in the target country. |

one full length volume of work. |

| By offering opportunities for the foreign writers to stay in Korea, LTI Korea hopes to provide more awareness and interest in Korean culture and to promote more literary exchanges between the countries |
Description |
- LTI Korea provides round-trip airfare and the expenses for six months of stay in Korea.
- LTI Korea provides opportunities for the foreign writers to meet with Korean writers, participate in international literary events, to gain cultural experiences and to write their travelogue. |

| - An applicant must be between 25 to 45 years of age, have published at least one full length of work, and be able to communicate in English. |
| - The length of stay : From June to November, 2009 (6 months) |
| - The applicants must be from either other Asian, African, and South American countries. |

| Six writers in total were invited in 2005: two writers from Mongolia, Vietnam, and Turkey. |
| Six writers in total were invited in 2006: two writers from Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines. |
| Six writers in total were invited in 2007: one writer from Nepal, India, Palestine, South Africa, Mexico, and Argentina. |
| Six writers in total were invited in 2008: one writer from Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine, Tunisia, and Columbia. |
