Korean Literature Essay Contest for Foreign Readers
- Purpose
- In order to raise awareness of Korean literature overseas and reach out to potential readers, LTI Korea holds the Korean Literature Essay Contest aimed at readers outside of Korea.
- Details
- Beginning in 2005 with an essay contest that was held in three different countries, the Korean Literature Essay Contest has broadened in scope and is now being held across 16 different countries. The competition is run in partnership with relevant institutions overseas and prizes are awarded for the most outstanding entries. In addition, the first prize winning essays from each country are collected together and published at the end of every year.
